Description
When you upgrade to an aftermarket standalone ECU you end up having a quandary about how and where to mount things. Many people simply use a hodgepodge of sheet metal screws or zip ties and the results are less than secure or stable. This universal ECU bracket provides a flat and stable surface to mount your new ECU and/or PDM. The bracket raises the ECU up off of the surface of the car that you mount the bracket to. This allows airflow under the bracket to help dissipate heat, and is also provides vibration damping to help protect your expensive electronics.
Use this bracket to mount your electronics to a transmission tunnel, fire wall, rear bulkhead, passenger floor board, etc. safely and securely.
Ships in bare aluminum with a brushed finish. This is a builder part; you drill the mounting holes where you need them for your particular devices. You can leave the bracket bare aluminum, or paint it if you prefer. Hardware is not included as different ECUs will required different hardware for mounting.
The raised surface is a 10″x7″ area. That’s plenty of space for just about any ECU, and even enough space to place an ECU and PDM side by side.
FEATURE LIST:
– Fits most popular ECUs and PDMs
– Protects your ECU: ‘Floats’ off the vehicle surface. Keeps the ECU cool and dampens vibration.
– Brushed aluminum and extremely lightweight
