Track Day Fever: Calsonic Nissan Skyline GT-R R32
Track Day Fever:
At Singulär Motorsports, we have a passion for all things motorsports related. Track Day Fever is a series which highlights one simple thing: cars at the track. Turn up your speakers, and enjoy the sights and sounds from race tracks around the world.
The Car:
If you grew up in the Gran Turismo generation of the 90’s the Calsonic Skyline R32 GT-R needs no introduction. On the other hand, if you have been living under a rock, the Calsonic Skyline is responsible for countless race wins during its career in the early 90s. Powered by the famous 2.6L RB26DETT, two turbos and the impressive ATTESA E-TS AWD system the R32 was the birth of the legendary modern Skylines to leave Nissan’s factories.
The Track:
Unknown to some, the track featured in this weeks video is the Grandrive Test Facility for Nissan Motors. This $23 million project started in 2006 and is one of three facilities Nissan utilizes in chassis development.
